While you write

• Good focus on the topic, and how it relates to the discourse (or not, maybe new fact)

• Pick the correct fronting structure, put the main payload at the end

• Factual or irrealis?

• Pick the correct realization for the irrealis. What is the distance from the here and now? From the facts? Open? Remote? Mood?

• Finite/infinite

• Pick the correct verb, the correct meaning from the vocab

• For correct structure, if the website is not enough, better to consult CGEL Students introduction: clauses on chapters 10-14, coordinations on chapter 15, info package on chapter 16. Then find the example/rule that best fits what needed need.

• If relevant, improve to more concise structure that focuses on what’s important
